darkenedspirit (Midgard_OBM) I've discovered this band two years ago and I have appreciated, no more no less. Extremely raw as I like, but too chaotic, the sound of guitars is quite squeaky but the vocals are pretty good and hateful. Very homogeneous in the whole, this is good Raw Black Metal but a band among others... Anyway, lover of filth will enjoy this release.

VVerVVulf was formed around April, 2018 by Varkolak, original with another member from the studio he had shared. Then Varkolak decided to move onto making it a solo endeavor for an indefinite period so as to make it purely an expression of his own will.
At the period Varkolak recorded his first demo, "Lunar Howl," he was homeless at the time and in the midst of a devastating drug binge. The sound of that demo is a product of Varkolak's state of mind as a result of desperate, depraved, emaciated, yet he felt entirely powerful in his music. The second demo, "Immortality," followed with much of similar depressive mindset. Although, he had pulled himself together and recorded for it. In Varkolak's own words " I would soon let chaos reign in my life once more, which delayed the overall process." The lyrical content of this demo had more to do with personal spiritual experiences with nature rather than old Slavic vverevvolf mythos.
While it was never his deliberate intention to make the writing and recording process for VVerVVulf so spontaneous, the circumstances of Varkolak's life during these times made it so. Elderblood now has the opportunity to presents this 'hidden in the dark' gem to you all, as "Immortal Howls...Fullmoon Barks" would contain the two killer demos from VVerVVulf, first time on physical format, limited to only 80 copies.
